Materials:
The hanger is made of alloy steel 95x18, handle and sheath are made of copper alloy. They have also nickel covering (10mkm) and a gilding (5mkm), ebony and blue topaz are used as a decoration.

The length of the item without sheath is about 450 mm, length of the blade – 280 mm, its width – 20 mm.
Description:
The arms is decorated with a stylized plant ornament and marine symbolism.
On the front side of the sheath a battleship “Three Saviours” is engraved. It is a great example of a Russian shipart, built on the main shipyard of the Admirality in St. Petersburg. It played a major role in the Russian-Turkish war of 1768-1774.
On the front side of heel of the hanger there is an image of St. George. As a unit there is also a gold umbo of a hemispherical shape. It is decorated with a plant ornament and marine symbolism.
It has an illumination as well.
